Only last weekend my friend J and her husband came over for dinner. She told me that since she knows that I am a vegan, every time when she cooks she wonders if I could eat it, and so she wonders what I would eat all the time. Well, the best idea was to invite them over and let them taste some, right? So I did. :-)
I made the leek-quishe again and some raspberry-cream-desserts. The dessert is also from the Attila Hildmann Cookbok I.
- sojatoo (soy-cream that could be whisked stiff)
- frozen raspberrys
- some sweetener (sugar or agave nectar etc.)
- vegan chocolate sprinkles
Just made different layers one only made of sweetned soy-cream and the other made of soy-cream and a little defrostet raspberrys. I put some chocolate sprinkles in between some layers and before I served the dessert I put some more cream on top and chocolate sprinkles o it also. We just took the photo before our guests arrived, so it wasn't quite ready yet.
(This time my husband took the photo as I was still busy in the kittchen).
And they loved it, there wasn't the usual "oh, its nice but something is missing..., something like meat.."-comment you get so often when omnivores try vegan food. No, J and her husband actually really liked it and didn't miss a thing!! :-)
And there is another thing I was wondering: Is there actually someone who needs me to write in english? Or are my readers all german anyway? I thought about swiching to german and just translate the importand facts from every post in english. What do you think?
Comments needet!! :-)
